Jeanette P. Standridge passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson at the age of 88 years. She was born January 3, 1922 to Ray and Edith (Gay) Tuttle in San Jose, CA and grew up there. Jeanette met Frank Standridge and married him in Winnemucca, NV. She worked 23 years as a waitress. Jeanette enjoyed traveling with Frank, dancing, and going to shows in Reno and Lake Tahoe. She was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and would do anything for her family.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Frank Standridge of Jackson; children, Barry Standridge and companion, Kim of Sutter Creek, Kenny Avery of Alaska, Jimmy Avery and wife, Liz of Idaho; son-in-law, John Trott of Santa Clara; brothers, Clayton Tuttle of Sutter Creek, Jack Tuttle of Reno; sister, Mayvern Sousa of Santa Cruz; grandchildren, Gary Standridge and wife, Angelina, Debbie Avery, Jennifer Trott; great-grandchildren, Haley, Bethany, Arcella, Laurinda Standridge, and Alex Trott. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Trott in 2009.
At the family's request there will be no services. Inurnment will be in the Keystone Mausoleum at Sunset View Cemetery in Jackson. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be offered to the family, via e-mail at condolences@danerimortuary.com.
