 After a long, joyful life full of adventure, our beloved Mom and Grandma passed comfortably at home in the presence of her loving family.
She was born in Santa Cruz, grew up in Calaveras County and lived her adult life in Sacramento, Santa Cruz and Amador counties.
Preceded in death by her husband and best friend Curtis Gurney and her son Daniel Gurney, she has now reunited with them and is dancing in the clouds.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy & Mike Collins of Ione, grandchildren Christine Lasich of Oregon, Jeremy Lasich of Virginia, Jamin Gurney of Redding, Amber Collins of Santa Cruz, Courtney Bayha of Arizona, and 9 great grandchildren.
