 Lee Nora Filice passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9th in Sutter Creek, CA at the age of 95.
She was born in Fresno, CA but grew up in the oil fields of Taft, CA. She was a long time resident of Gilroy, CA for 38 years, moving to the Volcano, CA area in 1976 and then to Sutter Creek seven years later. She was an active member for many years in the Jackson Women's Club, Sierra Madre Garden Club and the Book Bunch Club.
She is preceded in death by her husband Louis A. Filice, sons Alan & Ronald Filice of Gilroy, CA and her sister Iola Barbier of San Francisco. She is survived by daughters Kathleen Orlando & Sylvia Meyer, niece Annette Barbier, granddaughters Michelle Kushlan, Carey Brozaitis, Silvie Ferdinand, Tara Williams and five great grandchildren.
