 At the age of 97, Lucy A. Voloder went into eternal rest on July 20, 2010 at her home with family by her side. She was born on June 23, 1913 and lived in Fiddletown, CA most of her life. She was a very loving, caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her elegant grace and amazing wit always lifted a smile on her face and those around her. Lucy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, completing crossword puzzles, watching Price is Right, Regis & Kelly, and always rooted for the Atlanta Braves and Sacramento Kings.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Matt Voloder and son Ronald Voloder. She will be greatly missed by her surviving children Mathew Voloder (Sarah), Donald Voloder, MaryAnn Gibbs, Marlene Stork, and brother John Magud. Lucy also left behind 15 grandchildren: James Gibbs Jr. (Caroline), Karen Mayfield (Michael), Dawnette Voloder, Steven Voloder, Rick Stork, Linda Davis, Teresa Adams, Pat Stork (Gloria), Steven Stork (Kris), several other grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, 7 nephews and 6 nieces.
Everyone will greatly miss her positive outlook on life, wonderful sense of humor and precious smile. We love you Lucy and will always have you in our hearts.
